Fitbit has launched its new fitness watch, Fitbit Blaze, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which started today, January 2, 2016, in Las Vegas. Rather than being a watch with straps, the new offering is an octagonal tracker that can be popped in and out of a variety of cases that the company calls 'frames'.

As a fitness device, the Blaze will track daily steps, sleep, heart rate and calories burnt. In addition, a FitStar app included in the watch will offer guided workouts. Similar to other Fitbit products, the Blaze will share your activity data wirelessly to iOS, Android and Windows Smartphones.

Elsewhere, the Blaze functions with the standard notification options like calls, texts, calendar notifications, music controls as well as a new call rejection option.

Fitbit Blaze will be released in March, 2016. The stainless steel link band will be priced at Dhs470 and the additional leather band is Dhs370. For more information, visit Fitbit.
