Two contemporary chefs will converge at Oman's premier resort for two days only to transform plates into mouthwatering moments...

Award-winning restaurant Sense on the Edge is hosting a unique two-day tasting menu courtesy of a collaboration between Chef Adam Liston and the restaurant's own Chef de Cuisine Ron McKinlay. The gastronomic dinner, which is set to take place against the palatial mountain backdrop will be the ultimate culinary affair to whet the palette for 2016.

Melbourne-based Liston from Northern Light Restaurant is known for mixing his take on European food with strong Asian flavours inspired by his travels throughout Asia. He particularly specilaises in yakitori which will be a highlight during the event.

In contrast to Liston, Chef McKinlay has made a name for himself using classical French techniques to create contemporary dishes. Trained in Scotland under Michelin-star Chef Tom Kitchin, McKinlay has also had a successful culinary stint in Australia running the kitchen at Saint Crispin.

Together, the two chefs will stage a unique culinary ensemble to further amplify Six Senses Zighy Bay's commitment to present an out of the ordinary experience.

The two-day tasting menu will be available for dinner on January 22-23, 2016 at Sense on the Edge, Six Senses Zighy Bay, Oman.
