Butter Dubai opens sweet new pop-up at Mahani boutique
From Nutella sea salt cookies to rose-infused cronuts, local Emirati Fatma Buhannad has been taking over the UAE's dessert scene with her Butter Dubai since last year.
Now, running until December 2, sweet tooths and fashion lovers will be able to get a taste of both worlds with the new Butter pop-up café at Mahani boutique in Dubai. Open everyday, except for Wednesday, visitors will be able to indulge a variety of delicious goods whilst being surrounded by the latest collections in fashion.
The menu includes a mixture of signature dishes and new takes on classic desserts and pastries, featuring the sensational Nutella sea salt cookie, the dish of the week – which this week is a red velvet cake with cream cheese sorbet, homemade fudge sauce, white chocolate tuiles, milk crumbs and organic strawberries – and a special collaborative treat that was made with Yamanote Atelier (a Japanese bakery in Dubai) which is a black sesame croissant with cream cheese and strawberry jam.
And, the drinks menu is just as unique as the food, with a variety of coffee choices available, from americanos (a custom blend from Race Coffee Company, that was created to go perfectly with the flavours of the Nutella sea salt cookies) and saffron cappuccinos (which comes with Iranian bread rolled with Omani halwa), to rose iced lattes and hokkaido lavender piccolos (a short latte with Japanese imported lavender).
The Butter Dubai pop-up cafe is now open until December 2 at Mahani, Emirates Boulevard, Dubai
