The Burj Al Arab's Al Mahara restaurant has partnered with award-winning chef Nathan Outlaw. Renowned for his expertise with seafood, the English culinary maestro will act as a consultant at the hotel's signature restaurant as it undergoes a creative rebranding.

Outlaw will bring the culture and techniques employed at his two Michelin-starred restaurants in London, which includes his eponymous Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, to recreate the menu and aesthetics at Al Mahara. Despite having free rein, the restaurant looks set to keep its iconic aquarium centrepiece, a feature of the hotel, which  is recognised worldwide.

"Working with Burj Al Arab speaks for itself," said Outlaw. "It's the most luxurious hotel in the world, and a once in a lifetime opportunity. This is my first venture out of the UK, and what an iconic property to partner with."

Al Mahara at Burj Al Arab will open in September 2016.
