Renowned designer and architect, Zaha Hadid, attends the Milan Design Week Bulgari event, in celebration of her Serpenti installation. Joining her and host of guests at the evening celebration was Bulgali CEO Jean-Christophe Babin.

Hadid's 20-meter long creation was initially commissioned for the Abu Dhabi Art Fair four years ago, where Bulgari featured a prominent pavilion. Hadid was approached by the luxury Italian Jewellery brand to create an installation that reimagines its iconic Sperpenti motif. The motif has been an intrinsic part of Bulgari's design DNA since the forties. Hadid's installation interprets the idea of constant change and fluidity in her geometric structure. 

It will now find a new home at the Bulgari Hotel of Milan from April 14 until April 19 in celebration of the city's Design Week. Where the polygons of the structure will serve as display shelves for a selection of stunning Serpenti jewellery creations from the forties to today. Take a closer look at Hadid's design below...
