Zaha Hadid launches her homeware collection at Harrods
The 63-year-old veteran architect has recently launched her first collection of home furnishings, from vessels and candelabras to a chess sets and sofas.
Revealed during an event at Harrods at the end of September, the range by Zaha Hadid Design features a series of new designs as well as some of her studio's existing products for the interior. The sculptural and unique objects follow the Iraqi-based architect's bold signature aesthetic, scaled down to look like miniature structures Hadid built in the past.
The delicate pieces are made from ceramic, bone china, acrylic and resin. Coming in a simple colour palette of white, black and clear, with hints of green and fuchsia used throughout.
Available at Harrods, London now.
