After years of tea-orientated research (yes, really), a Brooklyn-based designer has claimed to have created the perfect teapot

We've seen some unusual teapot shapes in our time, but this one takes the biscuit. With a contemporary interpretation of a proven design, the glass tube of the Sorapot allows the owner to watch their favourite loose-leaf tea unfurl as it steeps.

Made from 100% recyclable materials (even the packaging), Sorapot is a unique, contemporary teapot for the kitchen. Its architectural shape and simple functionality bring tea's quiet beauty into sharp focus... And make a pretty good cup of tea while it's at it.

It's designed using 304 stainless steel, borosilicate glass and food-grade silicone, providing a new way to look at the ritual of tea-making in a thoroughly modern way.
