Luxury Swedish rugmaker Henzel Studio has teamed up with The Andy Warhol Foundation of Visual Arts on an exclusive collection of handmade rugs and pillows. The Henzel Studio Heritage: Andy Warhol collection draws inspiration from a 38-page maquette that featured bits of the maestro's famous painting of Marilyn Monroe in 1967.
The artisans at Henzel Studio created the unique handmade rugs to mirror each of the octagonal pages of the maquette. In addition, another set of rugs were treated by Calle Henzel, Founder of Henzel Studio, which feature both his own trademark design elements including random shapes and holes, fringes as well as intricate surface details.
The Henzel Studio Heritage: Andy Warhol collection will debut at Art Basel in Miami on November 29. Now, find out who's set to play Andy Warhol in a new biopic.
