Lamborghini opens new museum in Bologna
A total makeover
Automobili Lamborghini has opened its fully renovated museum in Bologna. First opened in 2001, the museum has been given a total facelift to provide for a more immersive and interactive experience for visitors. The new look includes a more muted colour palette to fully put the focus on the brightly painted historic and iconic cars.
"The Museum, which has been designed as an authentic experience for visitors, will be a key attraction for an ever-increasing number of arrivals from around the world," said Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. "The new layout now provides a richer experience of the world of Lamborghini where our history, engines, design and technology come together in a journey from the brand's past to its future."
Some of the highlights of the new museum include the crisp engine sounds of the Aventador and Huracan welcoming guests at the door, the first ever Lamborghini built, the concept vehicles that reflect the brand's future direction, a platform showcasing the most popular Lamborghinis in history as well as a motorsport section.
