Ford has been whipping up plenty of attention at the Detroit Auto Show this week with the release three new models; the new Shelby GT350R Mustang and the high pick-up 2017 F-150 Raptor but the show-stopping third model stole the spotlight – The new GT. 

Ford has been developing the new GT in a secret lair with a handpicked, essential-only team of experts. Ford President, Joe Hinrichs said the designs and development were done "in a small room in the basement of the Product Development Centre in Dearborn", it even had hidden entrance was only accessible by a few people. And now the secret is out, finally the stunning design for the high performance power car has been unveiled

The iconic American muscle car has taken its cues from around the world, specifically Europe. And it packs a powerful punch in drawing some 600 horsepower from its 3.5 litre twin-turbo V6 engine – making it the most powerful production EcoBoost ever. 

The breaks are made from carbon-ceramics, it has a carbon monocoque body with structural carbon-fiber body panels, and top-of-the-line Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 Michelin tires.
