Ever dreamed of having a personal robot for your office that could just make the simplest things much more fun? Well MB&F did and presented us with their latest inspired offering in the form of Melchior – a desk-sized robot designed to assist you with matters such as time.

Don't be fooled though, this action figure clock is not a toy and is brought to you by the men who designed the MusicMachine 2 – a replica of the USS Enterprise, designed in collaboration with L'Epée this mini robot is priced at $35,000.

Hand crafted by Swiss watchmakers, the robots composition is fascinating, with the regulating system positioned at the top of the figure under a glass dome, representing the robots brain, two dials with red markers highlight Melchior's eyes and the clock face is cleverly situated on the chest area. With a running time of up to 40 days all that is needed to reboot your clockwork character is to remove his Gatling arm, which consequently transforms into a winding key.

Melchior has been designed by founder Max Bussner to celebrate the luxury brand's 10thanniversary. There are just 99 editions of this 'robo-clock', which is the perfect gift for collectors and robot enthusiasts. Melchior was showcased at Baselworld 2015 and one piece is to be donated to charity later on in the year at auction.
