Marni celebrates Salone del Mobile 2015 by transforming its Viale Umbria 42 showroom into a special version of its Marni market – the Marni Mercado de Paloquemao. This year’s theme moves on from the Animal House project seen at the 2014 festival, by drawing its inspiration from the exotic world of Columbia.

The market set up is alive with vibrant colours and flavours as exotic fruits native columbia are on display, as well as being reworked and artistically represented in metal and PVC sculptures which serve as bold centrepieces or even containers in their larger iterations

Additional stools of various shapes, colours and woven patterns complete the furniture and interiors collection.

With a charity focus this year, proceeds of the sale of the market pieces are being donated to Anayibe Rincon’s Workshop charity, and the collection includes a limited edition of objects and furnishings that have been entirely handmade in Colombia, by a group of women who have found independence and a livelihood through their work.
