Watch out: Rolex is set to participate at Dubai Watch Week for the first time

Taking place in November...
Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons just announced that Dubai Watch Week is set to receive new brand participation for 2019...

A new season of Dubai Watch Week is back and as usual; it comes with an impressive line-up of watchmakers. However, this year’s upcoming edition (set to take place in November) is particularly special, as it will mark the first time Rolex participates. Surprisingly, this will also mark the first time the Geneva-based luxury watch manufacturer will participate at a watchmaking event in the Middle East.

During the five-day event, Rolex will make their presence known with a dedicated exhibition that explores the universe of the Oyster Perpetual Submariner, as panels and interactive displays tell the story of how the celebrated divers’ watch developed over the years.

Also, to celebrate this momentous occasion, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons have been organising a special exhibition that will highlight incredible vintage Rolex timepieces.

Speaking of Rolex’s participation, Vice Chairman of Seddiqi Holding, Abdul Hamied Ahmed Seddiqi, said: “We are extremely honoured to have Rolex presented for the first time at Dubai Watch Week. This is something really special for Dubai following the opening of the largest Rolex Boutique in the world in 2018.”

The next edition of Dubai Watch Week is set to take place from November 20-24, 2019.
