Vacheron Constantin launches Overseas world time watch
Three stunning editions
Master Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin has just launched the Overseas world time watch collection. The new line, which consists of three different variations with a blue, silver-toned or brown dial, has the capability of displaying a minimum of 37 different time zones.
Bearing the maison's patented self-winding movement, the timepiece features a 43.5mm stainless steel case as well as a 40-hour power reserve. The dial is broken down into several parts; the central map displaying the various continents encircled by a lacquered disc that shows the different cities. Another layer of sapphire disc, with its precise gradient tints, has also been expertly placed atop the map. It moves in sync with the 24-hour disc, allowing the wearer to distinguish between day and night.
All of the functions and settings can easily be manipulated via the crown and to afford more flexibility, the strap has been cleverly designed to be interchangeable in an instant. There's also the choice of a stainless steel bracelet, a rubber bracelet or an alligator leather strap variation.
