Designed for pilots, the new Longines timepiece is the epitome of functionality and elegance. Introducing the Avigation Watch Type A-7 1935...

Luxury Swiss watchmaker Longines has unveiled its latest timepiece created for pilots and aviation enthusiasts. An ode to the great pilots of the last century, including Charles Lindbergh, who was the first pilot to cross the Atlantic solo, the Longines Avigation Watch Type A-7 1935 stands outs for its design, aesthetic and technical brilliance.

The eye-catching creation is angled at 40 degrees to the right, purposefully allowing pilots to keep track of the time without ever taking their hands off the control yoke. For further assurance of legibility, the sparkling white dial is juxtaposed against honey-coloured numerals with pear-shaped hands in blue accents providing further contrast. Did we mention that the fluted crown was specifically designed to allow for functionality, even while pilots are wearing gloves?! Completing the stunning appearance of the timepiece is the brown alligator strap.
