Pearl master Robert Wan has collaborated with Lebanese jewellery designer Nadine Kanso on a unique jewellery piece. Named Ya Noor El Ain, the ring will make its debut at the ongoing Doha Watches and Jewellery Exhibition this month.

Sourced from Robert Wan's private collection, the ring's centrepiece is a rare Tahitian black pearl, encircled by rose gold, blue sapphires as well as baguette-cut diamonds. At the top, Arabic letters from Kanso's popular Bil Arabi collection spells out the collection's name.

"It is always inspiring and self-challenging when one collaborates with an international brand, coming up with something truly exclusive that also resonates closely with my signature design ethos," says Kanso. "Using pearls for Ya Noor El Ain was a beautiful voyage into a world, which I normally do not touch upon. It was a poignant journey of discovery for me personally as an artist."
