Van Cleef & Arpels has just announced the launch of a new (and educational) programme that is set to take over Hai d3, Dubai Design District, this November. Celebrating the maison's opening of its L'École Van Cleef & Arpels addressthe Paris-based School of Jewellery Arts, will host a plethora of exclusive events — think exhibitions, film screenings and talks — that will be open to the public. Here attendees can expect to learn about design, history, jewellery and contemporary culture. 

This year, the list of exclusive talks features conversations on 'Pearls, Past and Present', 'The Magic of Natural Pearl' and 'From Rocks to Jewels – A Journey with Minerals'; exhibitions on 'Pearls & Jewels of the Gulf', 'Through the Eyes of a Connoisseur', 'Emirati Adornment: Tangible and Intangible', 'Saruq Al-Hadid: A Platform for Creation' and the 'Van Cleef & Arpels Emerging Designer Award' — which recently announced its winner, Hamza Al Omari. Also, a must-see experience is the L'École Van Cleef & Arpels' platform, Cinema Akil, which will present a series of cinematic screenings around jewellery, including Cleopatra and Joddha Akhbar

The L'École Van Cleef & Arpels talks, exhibitions and Cinema Akil is now open to the public and will run until November 25 at Hai d3, Dubai Design District. Now, take a look at Van Cleef & Arpels' Gouache Drawing workshop, which is now taking place during Design Days Dubai.
