One of America's biggest names in jewellery is making its way to our desert shores and Dubai is proving the perfect launchpad.

American luxury jewellery maker David Yurman has announced that it will be adding to its worldwide network with new store openings in Dubai. The two pop-up stores, at Bloomingdale's in The Dubai Mall and at Harvey Nichols, Mall of the Emirates, is set to carry a full suite of the brand's iconic collections including Albion Gold, Solari, Pinky Rings and Chatelaine Pavé. Some of the highlights at the new stores are the Renaissance Cable Bracelet, Pure Form, Stax and Supernova, as well as some regional exclusives.

"We are thrilled to open David Yurman in the Middle East with our retail partner, Al Tayer Group," said Gabriella Forte, Chief Executive Officer, David Yurman. "We anticipate a strong affinity for the brand in this part of the world where the customer truly appreciates quality, craftsmanship and innovative design. Dubai is one of the region's busiest shopping destinations, and a window to other countries in the region. This market is key to our international growth and expansion plans."

Khalid Al Tayer, CEO Retail, Al Tayer Group, echoed the excitement, saying, "We are very proud to partner with David Yurman to bring such an iconic American fine jewellery brand to the Middle East. As luxury pioneers in the region, we know that the creativity and design excellence that are the hallmarks of the David Yurman brand will resonate extremely well with the cosmopolitan Dubai customer."

Inspired by the flagship stores in New York, the 133 sq ft store at Bloomingdale's will showcase the maison's association with luxury, sophistication and timelessness – think Tambour wood vitrines, travertine countertops and polished metal finishes. Complementing the store are two further spaces designed specifically for a visual showcase of the exquisite collections. Meanwhile, the boutique at Harvey Nichols, though bigger at 172 sq ft, will still share similar design elements to provide a seamless and unique brand identity.
