SIHH is wrapping up for another year and 2018 has been one of the fair's most exciting editions. Before leaving Geneva, Buro 24/7 Middle East made one last stop to Hublot's exhibition space and we certainly weren't disappointed with the brand's upcoming offerings.

A new golf watch, called Big Bang Unico Golf, is on its way much to the delight of the sport's fans across the Middle East and several new updates have been made to the brand's Big Bang style for both men and women. The Big Bang Unico Sapphire Galaxy in white is one of Hublot's biggest launches for the year ahead with just 50 pieces available. The piece is polished with 18-karat white gold and is set with 48 baguette cut Amethysts and rose, orange, fuchsia, Madagascar and blue Sapphires that give the effect of the lights of the galaxy.

Elsewhere in the brand's Classic Fusion line, three new styles will be released this year. Once again, Hublot has teamed up with Lap Elkann of Italia Independent to create a series of fashion-forward timepieces using fabric from legendary Italian tailor Rubinacci. The three new limited edition styles each feature a chronograph movement and a watch face and strap crafted from 60s-inspired fabric. Houndstooth and a Prince of Wales check are updated for the new year in blue and neutrals respectively, whilst a pinstripe pattern is introduced for the first time.

Additionally, the brand is also continuing its 'Hublot Loves Art' category, this year teaming up with contemporary French artist Richard Olinski (pictured abiove) to create a Classic Fusion style that reflects his signature aesthetic. The pop art inspired piece, titled Classic Fusion AeroFusion Chronograph, features 12 facets on the bezel and is available in titanium or blue ceramic in a 45mm size. Limited to just 200 pieces each, these pieces cleverly bridge art and watchmaking resulting in two true conversation-starting novelties.
