Swiss watchmaker Omega has unveiled its 2016 festive timepiece collection, just in time for the year-end. The group of exceptional watches includes coveted pieces from the brand including the Globemaster Annual Calendar Limited Edition, the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon, Constellation Petite Seconde and the De Ville Ladymatic.
Leading the pack is the Globemaster Annual Calendar Limited Edition, with a pie pan dial that draws inspiration from the iconic 1952 Constellation. The indexes and hour hands – fitted with green enamel – are complemented beautifully by the green leather strap. Next in line is the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon, a chronograph watch that pays homage to the Apollo 8 astronauts. Here, the distinguishing feature lies in the black zirconium oxide ceramic dial as well as the engraving, which reads on the caseback: 'Dark Side of the Moon'.
Feminine timepiece options in the festive collection come in two forms: the Constellation Petite Seconde and the De Ville Ladymatic. The former is the world's first women's Master Chronometer and features 10 diamond hour markers with an additional four diamond indexes in the smaller seconds dial. Meanwhile, the De Ville Ladymatic Co-Axial 34mm is a showcase of 60 years of savoir-faire with this Ladymatic edition bedecked with snow-set diamonds on the bezel. For a less mechanical option, the Ladymatic pendant in 18-carat red gold is also available, throwing the spotlight on sensual lines and elegance that mirrors its horological counterpart.
Rounding off the festive collection are the Constellation Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer, Deep Black Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Omega Co-Axial Master, the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m Omega Master Co-Axial 34mm, the Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer 39.5mm and the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m Omega Master Co-Axial 41.5mm.
