Carolina Herrera de Baez launches debut jewellery collection in the Middle East
At a private dinner in Qatar
CH Carolina Herrera launched the very first foray into jewellery in style, with an elegant moon-lit private dinner in Qatar earlier this month. Followed by an in-boutique presentation from Carolina Herrera de Baez herself, in Villaggio Mall.
The debut collection of graceful and ultra feminine floral-inspired jewellery – titled 'Falling Jasmine' – was created by Carolina Herrera de Baez in collaboration with Argentinian artist Grillo Demo, who has long been captivated by the allure of the jasmine flower and his paintings often reflect this fascination. For the designer, the essence of jasmine forms the basis of most of her popular fragrances, and for her personally, has a nurturing association with her mother, Mrs. Carolina Herrera.
Jasmine commonly represents a naturally elegant woman who exudes beauty, is refined and delicate, but strong at the same time, the hallmarks of the Carolina Herrera woman. It is the ideal inspiration for this ten piece collection of fine jewellery, which is composed of five pairs of earrings all of which display the delicate five white flowers in varying sized studs and also in a drop style, a chain necklace with a jasmine pendant, a spiral ring, a bracelet, a choker and a tiara made of gold-plated silver and enamelled in white.
The pieces can be easily mixed and matched in various combinations for effortless elegance and the collection is available at Carolina Herrera boutiques this year.
