Playing conceptually, a crew of international performers embodied the dynamics of the pieces, with performing artist Pascal Rousseau perched atop precarious surfaces –symbolising the balance of the watches. Paying tribute to the earth and water capabilities of the collection were synchronised swimming champions, Les Farfadais, French free-diving champion, Guillaume Bussière, not to mention the beautiful mermaids taking part in the indulgent performance.

These metaphorical acts highlighted the detail that goes into the art of Audemars Piguet's watchmaking, promoting a powerful collection for 2014, distinguished by a more technical, sculpted aesthetic. Retaining the signature waffle-like design of the 'Mega-Tapisserie' pattern, the new collection features subtle additions for that sense of luxury and exclusivity, whilst retaining the brand's innovative take on technical progress, and continuing to champion the spirit of independence of a family-owned company.
