Watch connoisseurs take note! The second edition of Dubai Watch Week is now officially open at DIFC and it's a must-see event. With participation from well-known luxury brands including A. Lange & Söhne and Audemars Piguet to more niche watchmakers including HYT and MB&F, the event is the region's ultimate gathering of master horologers from around the world. More than just a showcase of fine watches, the event is an opportunity for the region's watch aficionados to engage and network with the people who set the industry benchmarks.

2016 Dubai Watch Week opens

New to this year's edition is the Creative Hub series of talks with one of the highlights being Christie's session on curating. Further to that, panel sessions that explore exciting subjects including Smart Watches, Digital Curators, 100 Years of Watchmaking and What Makes the Value of a Watch, allow for lively discussions on the intricacies of creating and marketing a timepiece. Don't miss these rare insights from watchmaking gurus Maximilian Busser, Founder of MB&F, as well as Pascal Raffy, owner of independent watch brand Bovet.

2016 Dubai Watch Week opens

For aspiring watchmakers, this year's watchmaking classes will include special guest Jean-Pierre Hagmann, the world's foremost authority in case-making. His invaluable experience, particularly his affiliation with Patek Philippe, offers special guidance during these sessions. And for those who simply want to appreciate the mastery of these iconic timepieces, Ayyam Gallery DIFC will be hosting the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve's travelling exhibition of award-winning timepieces. Also head over to The Dubai Mall where over 100 of the world's most iconic watches will be on display at The Mastery of Time exhibition.
