A three-panel runway imitating a hedge-lined garden saw a growing number of autumnal accents appear in the Hermès collection this season. Sunset pastel pink trench coats in leather, lined with sheep skin, made way for gumboot navy blue and naked wood hued wool trench coats, some elegantly accented with leather. Then came separates, think cape-like button-up silk shirts, tailored trousers, knitted turtle neck sweaters and beanies. Then a colour palette of enchanting emerald green knits, violet purple silks and shearling and sunshine yellow bomber jackets emerged before fiery paisley, golden keys and red leaf-like prints. On the root of each look was a complementary combat boot.
