Day four of Arab Fashion Week saw Dubai-based Russian designer, Kristina Fidelskaya, showcase her new seasonal collection, aptly titled Côte d'Azur. Marking the first time the eponymous designer has participated in this year's progressive fashion platform, the runway was dominated by 25 voluminous silhouettes that came complete with a neutral-toned colour palette inspired by 1950’s American photographer, Slim Aaron.

Silk organza, French lace, Swarovski detailing and woven fabrics were injected into Arabian-esque silhouettes — think lightweight kaftans, long dresses and maxi skirts — while elegant draping and layering were at the fore of Kristina Fidelskaya's Côte d'Azur Resort collection at Arab Fashion Week.

Backstage, Kristina Fidelskaya discussed the collection exclusively with Buro 24/7 Middle East saying: "This collection came from the relaxed elegance of spending summer on Cote d'Azur and it embodies the brand's DNA of a timeless, feminine and contemporary allure. We believe that our collections resonate very well with the region's trends of luxury and femininity."

"Each Kristina Fidelskaya collection portrays a beautiful elegant woman at a different moment," said Fidelskaya, before continuing to speak about the Middle Eastern woman. "They are very versatile and feminine and are always dressed so elegantly, which I love to see. Most Middle Eastern women are closely connected to their cultural roots while keeping up with the latest international fashion trends."
