Moving away from the runway set-up, Dsquared2's Dean and Dan Caten opted for a more intimate gathering during Milan Fashion Week this season. The Canadian-born designers launched a capsule collection, aptly titled Be Cool Be Nice, which featured signature styles — think deconstructed denim, sweaters, t-shirts and achingly cool accessories — for women, men and kids.

To celebrate, the designers hosted an exclusive gathering and showcased the capsule collection to a host of prominent personalities including Jerry Devaux, Marjan Jonkman, Vanessa Moody, Kylee Russo, Pietro Boselli, Jesse Metcalf and Iran-born Lebanese influencer Diala Makki.

Speaking about the concept of the capsule collection, Dsquared2's Dean and Dan Caten said: "Online bullying is a powerful and scary issue that can have a lasting, negative impact on young people's lives. We got behind 'Be Cool Be Nice' immediately because it's important to give kids and teenagers who are forming their personalities space to discover themselves without judgment, criticism and hate. We designed the capsule with this idea in mind, we wanted to make clothes and accessories with an attitude of strength, confidence and positivity."
