From Chanel's signature tweed separates, Coach's monochrome maxi dresses and Missoni's opening look, the check trend is fast dominating autumnal trends.

The runways blossomed with florals this season as bold, bright and beautiful prints were bunched together. Gucci highlighted their signature florals across tailored suits, Mulberry opted for a more miniature print in a muted colour palette and accessories too, were no wall flower with eye-catching shoes, stocking, scarves and handbags littered with the floral trend.

With a linear direction guiding the collections this season – think Burberry's Henry Moore-inspired looks, Missoni's muti-coloured lines or Versace's clear-cut stripes – expect the trend in all forms, shapes and sizes.
