Dior's Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, recently shared her thoughts on Japanese culture and her inspiration behind the newest collection for the maison. Now, the Italian fashion designer has translated that vision, along with Christian Dior's 1953 silhouettes, into several key looks to add to her Haute Couture Spring/Summer '17 collection.

Hosted in Tokyo to celebrate the opening of the brand's new boutique in Ginza Six, the collection follows the same ethereal aesthetic as seen in Chiuri's previous runways. However, the new creations have been injected with a strong cherry blossom motif to symbolise Japan's Festival of Hanami – the celebration of Spring.
