This Resort 2016 season for Victoria Victoria Beckham is the first to incorporate the designer's denim line. An infusion that Beckham says "happened quite naturally." The VVB line has chiefly been a collection of pretty dresses: "We'd been focusing on dresses, so it's been great to be able to have jeans and shirting, [too]." The move to blend the two lines, which have both experienced growth in the past year, also makes business sense says the company's CEO, Meanwhile Zach Duane.

There is a fun youthfulness to this season's lineup, for which the introduction of denim can take some credit. The designer says she took some of her design cues from the fanfare of the circus and its "fun, colourful attitude." This is evident in the voluminous short sleeves on a crisp white top and elephant prints elsewhere.

The line is something that Beckham can been seen wearing: "When I'm on holiday, I'll wear one of these little dresses," she says exhibiting an empire line camisole dress in deep marigold. And whilst the clothes are perfect for her, she insists that its what the customer wants too. The VVB line is described as "the other side of her wardrobe" for those who also wear the Victoria Beckham line.
