Valentino are planning to unveil a limited-edition capsule collection tomorrow inspired by the historic Italian city of Rome. To celebrate the debut of its Haute Couture show (also in Rome) later this week, the luxury fashion house will launch pieces for men and women inspired by the Eternal City.

Creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, explained that the unique collection allowed them to: “depict through our eyes the beauties of the city of Rome, constant source of inspiration for us. We love its beauty, its contrasts, its multiple facets, its ability to change in time and to project itself in the future.”

The range will feature only black and white with an eagle drawing as its defining motif. The lineup will include ready-to-wear and accessories and will be available come July 7 exclusively at the new Rome flagship store in Piazza di Spagna.
