Rodarte to return to the New York Fashion Week schedule

The designer duo are headed back home
After several seasons of showcasing their beautiful collections in Paris, Rodarte are headed back to join the New York Fashion Week calendar...

It seems that Rodarte has successfully wrapped up their Paris presence after opting for a new strategy in the French capital in 2017.

For the last three seasons, Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy have showcased their signature ethereal collections in a runway setting and twice with showroom appointments during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week

Earlier this month, the American brand was not a part of the haute couture schedule as they opted out of the traditional runway format. The decision was made in order to feature some of the women who inspired them in a portfolio of portrait images (including Kirsten Dunst, who confirmed she was pregnant with the lookbook).

Now, it seems like the sisters are ready to go back home and will be returning to the New York Fashion Week schedule.

The Mulleavy sisters first shared the news via Rodarte’s Instagram page writing: “We are excited to announce we will be showing our [Spring 2019] collection during NYC Fashion Week. We are thrilled to create the show with our amazing team: Brian Phillips and Black Frame, Alex de Betak and Bureau Betak, IMG and our beauty and hair teams: James Kaliardos using NARS Cosmetics, Odile Gilbert for TRESemmé hair.”

The show will take place on September 9, however, no details on the location have been revealed yet.
