Ralph Lauren joins past speakers including Frank Gehry, Chuck Close, Bruce Mau and Donna Karan at the Parsons table tonight, as he is announced as the latest star to join the talk series with Paul Goldberger.

The iconic American designer will be the first lecturer at the new Marvin Traub Lecture for Innovation hosted by Parsons School of Design on May 6. The unique and insightful talk will see Lauren and Goldberger introduce the new Marvin Traub Lecture for Innovation and scholarship, in memory of its namesake – Marvin Traub – who worked as Bloomingdale's CEO and president for over two decades. Traub was also a longtime Parsons Board of Governors member.

The lecture series and scholarship aims to spotlight the advancement of design and business ideas and are being funded by Traub's widow, Lee Traub, Marvin Traub Associates, and other donors.
