Ralph Lauren steps away from the well-trodden path of fashion photography for its new Autumn/Winter 15 campaign. Far away. 150 miles north of the Arctic Circle to be exact. The house enlisted the skills of British photojournalist, Jimmy Nelson, to shoot model Sanne Vloet in the cozy collection among the wildlife of Finnish Lapland. 

Known for his extensive work capturing the indigenous, and rarely seen cultures of the world, this is Nelson's first experience behind the lens of a fashion shoot, but with the remote location and herds of Finnish reindeer and huskies the campaign feels more natural history than fashion world. 

The brief was to capture what Lauren describes as: "a sensual, textural world, a warm cozy winter wonderland of strength and dimension." And we say – mission accomplished. Take a look at the campaign here...
