Olivia Wilde is the star of H&M's new Conscious Exclusive collection campaign for the Spring/Summer 15 season, shot by photographer Lachlan Bailey. The advertising campaign, which was styled by Ludivine Poiblanc, features Wilde wearing a range of different pieces from the High Street giant's Conscious Exclusive lineup.

Pieces including an opulent organic silk tuxedo blazer and a beautiful hand-drawn printed evening gown take centre stage in the new campaign visuals, which will run across various titles on April 1.

Wilde will also star in a short film for H&M directed by Max Vitali that will run in stores, online and on social media platforms from April 16.

“Sustainability has got a bad reputation, especially in fashion. I think people assume the clothes will be dull, the fabrics uncomfortable and the design uninspiring. It’s like people think sustainability is a penance. This couldn’t be further from the truth, and the H&M Conscious Exclusive collection shows that sustainability is no compromise on style,” Wilde told WWD.

“I hope the collection empowers women around the world who love fashion but want to consume it in a more sustainable way. It gives them the chance to look their best, and also act responsibly. I also hope the rest of the fashion industry is watching. I think this is how all fashion should be,” she added.

The new H&M Conscious Exclusive collection worn by Wilde in this campaign will debut in 200 H&M stores worldwide and online from April 16
