Famous faces come together for Miu Miu's new S/S'19 campaign, 'Somewhere, Nowhere'...

It’s that time of the year again where a slew of luxury labels are dropping their newest campaigns and this season, they’ve stepped up their game.

Earlier this week, Louis Vuitton revealed its latest lookbook that featured 17 of the maison’s closest friends (including Jennifer Connelly, Lea Seydoux and Sophie Turner), whilst Gucci dropped Lana Del Rey and Jared Leto’s debut campaign for the new Gucci Guilty fragrances yesterday.

Now, Miu Miu has released its S/S’19 campaign and it’s full of fresh new faces.

For the new season, the Italian label “focuses on individuality and the ephemeral nature of fashion itself”, according to Fashionista, and the message was captured by British photographer David Sims.

The new cast of faces (spanning the worlds of film, fashion, dance and music) include Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes Leon who was joined by Uma Thurman’s daughter, Maya Hawke, former ballerina Du Juan and actresses Juliette Lewis and Zazie Beetz.

This isn’t the first time Madonna’s daughter has fronted a campaign in the industry. In 2016, the 22-year-old fronted starred in Stella McCartney’s Pop fragrance campaign

Miu Miu has also previously used famous celebrity daughters including Lily-Rose Depp, Bella Hadid and Iris Law for campaigns and Kaia Gerber on the runway.
