It's official! Giorgio Armani has just changed the future of Milan Fashion Week in a bid to turnover the schedule...

Giorgio Armani has just announced that his eponymous collection show will no longer be the last on the Milan Fashion Week schedule. Milan Fashion Week, which is being held from September 21-26 will begin as usual with Gucci as the highlight, followed by Blugirl and Roberto Cavalli. However, the Giorgio Armani show, which for seasons has been held on the morning of the last day of the week is being moved to middle. Now taking place on Friday, September 23, Armani said his decision was sparked by an intent to change the current line-up. "Why should I be the only one to always close fashion week?" said Armani following his men's collection show at Milan Fashion Week in June. "There should be a turnover and I hope some of my colleagues will collaborate on this issue," he continued.

Armani is also currently changing the direction of his fashion house too, with the introduction of the Giorgio Armani Foundation.
