Consuelo Castiglioni presented her Cruise 2016 collection for Marni, displaying a beguiling combination of visual effects, finished with a sophisticated touch. An edgy seventies vibe shone through via honeycomb geometric prints, and a pallet of brown and yellows. Wallpaper-esque floral prints also contributed to this aesthetic.

The bold collection also saw burgundy and blue juxtaposed in a vivid combination. Trousers came in wide-leg silhouettes and skirts and dresses were hemmed long on the calf, and felt demure. There was a lot of attention paid to the waist, with the leading accessory of the collection being the wide waist belt, which came in a variety of tones, with a contrast edge.
