In a strategic move to capitalise on the growing number of online purchases, Karl Lagerfeld is going global, and fast. While the brand has previously been available on,, and the online versions of Harvey Nichols and Harrods, this November will mark's offical online offering.

Pier Paolo Righi, Chief Executive Officer at Karl Lagerfeld Group BV confirmed the news saying: "We're going global, in 97 countries, with five languages, including Japanese."

With the brand's current market positioning it's clear the concumer-centric are only set to benefit from this digital direction.  Pier also said that an e-commerce platform "resonates with our core customer, who is very connected, young-minded and modern… We know there is a big audience out there that wants to buy our product."
