Following the brilliant recruitment of Joan Didion by Céline for its Spring/Summer 15 campaign, Saint Laurent have announced its own 70s icon – none other than Joni Mitchell, to front its new campaign, which showcases music's stars for a special project.

The campaign forms part of the Saint Laurent Music Project and was shot by the fashion house's Hedi Slimane at Mitchell’s home in Bel Air, California. 71-year-old Mitchell stars in three, beautiful black and white images – wearing at Saint Laurent SS15 leather cap, country hat, and 70s folk tunic.

Is there a better person to showcase the new covetable 60s and 70s-inspired pieces? Bravo Slimane, bravo!
