Jessica Chastain has a lot to celebrate at the moment, as her recent film, A Most Violent Year, has had the critics singing a symphony of praise, she has been receiving a lot of attention this awards season, most recently with a Film Independent Spirit Award nomination.

After appearing on the Golden Globes red carpet, dripping in Piaget jewels, it has now been announced that the two-time Oscar nominated actress, is the newest international brand ambassador for Swiss fine jewellery and watchmaker Piaget.

"It is an incredible honour to be in partnership with Piaget," said Chastain in a press release. "They believe in innovation and boldness in their approach with pieces that are modern but respect the company's rich heritage. Their attention to detail is unparalleled and their beautiful collection reflects the company's motto to: Always do better than necessary."

Chastain already serves as the face of the Manifesto fragrance by Yves Saint Laurent, but this is a new luxury role for the Juilliard School trained actress. She follows in the footsteps of Piaget international brand ambassador Gong Li.
