Despite the fact that it is still without a creative director following Marco Zanini's departure last year, the management at Schiaparelli understand that the show must go on – tapping French graphic designer, illustrator and advertising film guru Jean-Paul Goude to design the set for its upcoming couture showcase.

This morning it has been announced that Goude has designed the set for its back-to-back Schiaparelli couture shows, which are set to take place in Paris on Monday.

Schiaparelli spokeswoman and a former model – Farida Khelfa – who was often in front of Goude's lens has noted that the celebrated French creative has enjoyed a long, personal connection with the iconic fashion house: His mother was always talking about Schiaparelli,” Khelfa said, who also added that the studio, under her direction, has created around 20 looks for the upcoming Paris show.
