Dubbing his Haute Couture SS15 collection 61 Façons de Se Dire Oui, or '61 Ways to Say Yes', the jovial lineup was an all white, and black, affair of dresses and tuxedo hybrids.

Jean Paul Gaultier opened the show with a bride in an ethereal white gown worn with high waisted briefs, and a crown of piled-high hair rollers securing her veil – crazy yet beautiful – a Gaultier forte.

This was then followed by some 'Le Smoking' atmosphere as black and white combinations of pantsuits and half-dress-half-tuxedos made their way on to the runway, showcasing the designer's exquisite tailoring skills and love of the unorthodox.

Sportier silhouettes also made a cameo, from heavily embellished cardigans and python-skin hooded robes, to overall dresses and baseball jackets, pieces that shone a spotlight on Gaultier's playful side.

The jester of couture then ended the show on bridal note, as Naomi Campbell closed the show wrapped in cellophane, dark green organza and real orchids – she was the beautiful bridal bouquet.
