Harvey Nichols opens its first branch in Azerbaijan today, spanning 110,000 square feet, the new store will be home to 500 different labels, from women's, men's, and children's to bridal wear and perfumery. The Baku based department store also features a sumptuous café, restaurant, lounge and a club. Services will comprise of styling and personal shopping spaces.

The luxury-shopping destination has been designed by London interior design firm – Four IV – who are renowned for their work on other Harvey Nichols stores around the world. In a recent interview Stacey Cartwright, group chief executive of Harvey Nichols described the Azerbaijan market as "Fast becoming one of the top luxury retail destinations in the world."

This latest addition to the Harvey Nichols group joins cities such as Dublin, Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, Istanbul and Ankara in Turkey, Dubai, Hong Kong and Kuwait along with seven stores around the U.K.
