Gucci Museo launches a new website
Offering an insight into Gucci’s archives
Gucci Museo has extended its global reach with the launch of a new website. The website is divided into three sections including 'The Archive', 'Gucci and the Arts', and 'The Museo'; and is translated into eight different languages.
In 2011, Gucci welcomed the Italian museum which offers a permanent home for the company's archives. The museum also features contemporary art installations supported by the Pinault foundation.
'The Archive' section of the website features permanent archive exhibitions of handbags, bamboo, flota, lifestyle, logomania, and eveningwear, as well as temporary exhibitions. Via each 'room', users have the ability to explore the archives, watch videos, and explore 360-degree images of the rooms featured in the real Museo.
Within 'The Gucci and the Arts' section of the website, users can source information on the contemporary art exhibitions at the museum, and learn all about Gucci's other art initiatives such as Tribeca, The Venice Biennale, and much more.
