GQ names Kanye West the most stylish man of 2014
Rapper turned fashion's most wanted
If anyone deserves to be recognised among the fashion idustry for their stylish efforts, its Kanye West, which is exactly what GQ has done this week. The musician and style icon has been involved with fashion since 2005, when he announced that he would release a clothing line, "now that I have a Grammy under my belt and Late Registration is finished, I am ready to launch my clothing line next spring," he stated. However, the collection was cancelled in 2009, but this didn't stop him from him breaking into the fashion industry.
Kanye West quickly moved on, collaborating with Nike on the hugely popular Air Yeezy's, which had a second release in 2012, and now Adidas, as he works on a new singnature shoe model.
West also has had his share in high-end fashion as he debuted his own women's fashion label, DW Kanye West, at Paris Fashion Week in 2011 and has most recently modelled for Balmain's men's Spring/Summer 15 campaign alongside his wife Kim Kardashian.
