Having just presented the menswear Spring/Summer 16 collection in Paris, Givenchy has announced a big change of plans for its women's presentation in September. The French house will break with tradition and debut the Spring/Summer 16 collection during New York Fashion Week instead of Paris Fashion Week.

The show is set to take place on the poignant date of September 11 and the brand's creative director, Riccardo Tisci, has said: "It's a very delicate day for America, and so the show is going to be a celebration of family and love." We have also learned that artist Marina Abramovic, has been enlisted to work on the show's art direction.
