Givenchy's Clare Waight Keller makes the Times 100 list
In its 16th year, Time Magazine highlights activism, innovation and achievement of the world's most influential individuals in politics, technology, science, philanthropy, media, business and entertainment.
And this year, it was Keller's turn to be recognised for her services to the fashion industry.
Since she joined Givenchy in 2017, she has taken the luxury French fashion house to new creative zeniths. From honouring the late founder Hubert de Givenchy in a couture collection, to adding zodiacs to the brand's jewllery line, she has definitely left her mark on the brand thus far.
In fact, she is the first female Artistic Director for Givenchy, so that in itself is quite the notable achievement. Prior to her current posting she was the Artistic Director for Chloé.
As Givenchy's CEO Philippe Fortunato had said upon her accession to Givenchy in 2017, "She has this great ability to break the rules and innovate without making a revolution. Her very focused approach will help the brand in building the ongoing momentum we have – and taking it to the next level."
