Buro 24/7 Middle East brings you the first look at the Karl Lagerfeld x Tiffany Cooper collaborative capsule collection ahead of next month's launch on Stylebop. Drafted in by the externally severe but wickedly humours Lagerfeld, Cooper has applied her mordant wit to a series of illustrations that depict the designer and his feline companion, Choupette, in a sequence of comic scenarios.

Cooper is known for her off beat portrayal of the fashion world, and regularly collaborates with the quirky-luxe Parisian boutique, Colette. After having two successful books published and having featured in a number of leading fashion titles, Cooper is living her dream of collaborating with her "role model" Lagerfeld:

"I've been looking for a way to portray Karl for a long time. Then, a year ago, I finally found it. Choupette naturally became the humorous foil to Karl's false severity," explains Tiffany.

She has created a mini-collection of fun ready-to-wear apparel tees, sweatshirts and accessories in Lagerfeld's iconic image, which include a cat representation of the designer's iconic slick hair black aviator sunglasses and monochrome wardrobe, as well as a playful scene from an unlikely 'Karl Lagerfeld and Choupette summer camp.'

The collection is an uplifting parody that manages to be both wryly witty and heart-warming all at once. And knowing that Lagerfeld is directly involved naturally anoints it with priceless fashion credibility.

The capsule collection will be available to purchase on Stylebop from April 4. Enjoy a preview in the gallery below...
