Jason Wu presented his Cruise 2016 collection for Boss, exhibiting sheer pragmatism and practicality in the lineup of uber wearable designs. Wu pointed out that 100 percent of the collection will be sold in the company's stores, unlike most runway collections, which only fractionally end up in-store. Wu focused on "injecting a sense of ease into the clothes." Which is achieved by leaning on the impeccable tailoring of Boss, selecting realistic fabrics and an easy to blend colour-blocked palette.

Light grey and khaki, served as the crisp base on colour block separates and at times, on colour-block garments. The box coat, with a grey chest and sleeves then divides into a khaki bottom, springs to mind. Wu also translated this look into black. Lively reds sprung forth with interest. The tie waist coat and sheath dress are bound to be collection favourites. Some of the best pieces showed the softer, more feminine side of Boss tailoring, clingy ribbed knits with hardware details.
