The new shoppable website platform will feature Fendi's ready-to-wear and accessories and offer deliveries to 28 European countries in phase one. The luxury Italian fashion house's chairman and CEO, Pietro Beccari announced the news backstage at its recent menswear show in Milan.

The e-Commerce site is expected to then rollout to America and Japan later this year, or early in 2016.

Beccari told WWD that the digital shopping experience would be taken care of in-house, with different options for placing an order, delivery and pick-up: “It’s a service that you give to the client,” he said. “We will have a 360-degree approach.”

The Fendi CEO also added that the new site will exclusively feature six looks from Fendi's forthcoming womenswear show in February for Autumn/Winter 15.
